The Adams Rite 8430SE is a mortise exit device engineered for narrow stile aluminum doors on 36-inch openings. Its silent electric latch retraction eliminates noise during emergency egress, making it ideal for hospitals, schools, and other noise-sensitive facilities. The extruded aluminum pushbar is available in multiple finishes and suits standard 1-3/4-inch to 2-1/4-inch door thickness.
This RHR (right-hand reverse) device accommodates door heights up to 8 feet with standard bar height adjustment from 30-44 inches. The non-handed design allows field-reversible lever entry trim for flexible installation.
