The Adams Rite 8701M1-36 is a rim exit device designed for hollow metal and wood doors up to 8 feet tall. Built with an extruded aluminum pushbar and featuring a request-to-exit monitor switch, this non-handed device suits standard 1 3/4 inch to 2 1/4 inch door thicknesses. It solves life safety and secure egress requirements for commercial facilities.
The 36 inch pushbar is field-reversible and adjusts from 30 to 44 inches in height. Compatible with standard rim cylinders and optional mortise cylinders with MS cam (sold separately).
