Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series is a heavy-duty mortise deadlatch designed for applications requiring flexible traffic control. It allows two-way passage during open hours and exit-only operation at other times by reversing the key while the bolt is retracted. The solid brass latch bolt is easily reversible with a screwdriver, and a stainless steel auxiliary latch pin prevents loiding and case-knife entry.
This deadlatch retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and interchanges with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of matching backset without stile modification.
