Its non-handed, adjustable design works on interior and exterior side doors, closets, and bathrooms, providing ADA compliance and flexible installation options across hinge-side, top-jamb, and parallel-arm mounting.
The SC81 features a 1-1/4 inch heat-treated steel piston, field-adjustable spring sizes 1-6, and separate controls for general speed, latch speed, and back check.
