Description
The Securitron SAM2-24 is a concealed electromagnetic maglock engineered for traffic control and medium-security applications. This shear-aligning maglock solves challenging door control needs across single doors or pairs, supporting sliding, in-swing, out-swing, and swing-through configurations. Fully sealed for weatherproof indoor and outdoor use, it mounts hidden within wood, steel, aluminum, or Herculite doors at the header, edge, or threshold.
The SAM2-24 operates on 24 VDC with low power consumption (170 mA) and delivers 1,200 lbs holding force. It includes 10 feet of jacketed cable, automatic dual-voltage capability, instant-release circuitry, and noise suppression. All ferrous surfaces are plated for rust resistance and durability across temperature extremes (-40 to +140F). Contact E.D.
