The Falcon T501PD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic institutional applications where durability is non-negotiable. Constructed with compression springs that exceed ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements, this lock features brass and cold-formed steel parts with zinc plating and stainless steel springs for lasting rust resistance. Ideal for schools, hospitals, and multi-tenant buildings.
Standard for 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" door thickness with 2-3/4" backset and 6-pin cylinder drilled with 5 pins. Thin door adapters and alternative backsets are available. The removable cylinder assembly enables simple re-keying without removing the lock body, perfect for retrofits and key changes.
