The Falcon T581BD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic and heavy-abuse institutional applications. Non-handed design with removable cylinder accepts any manufacturer's 6-pin cylinder, making re-keying quick and simple for retrofit projects. Compression spring construction exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements, delivering durability at competitive pricing.
Standard for 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" doors with 2-3/4" backset; thin door kits and alternative backsets available. Brass and cold-formed steel parts are zinc-plated and dichromated for rust resistance.
