Description
The Falcon T581LD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial applications. It exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements with a compression spring design, brass and cold-formed steel construction, and stainless steel springs for durability and rust resistance. Ideal for schools, hospitals, offices, and facilities demanding reliable security and long service life.
This lock fits standard door thicknesses from 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" with a 2-3/4" backset and accepts removable cylinders for easy rekeying without removing the lock body. Drilled with 6-pin chambers (pinned in 5, upgradeable to 6 or 7 at no cost), it comes with two nickel silver keys and heavy wrought brass or bronze trim.
