The Falcon T501BD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial applications where durability matters. Built with a compression spring that exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements, this non-handed lock handles demanding abuse environments while maintaining reliable performance. Its removable cylinder design simplifies re-keying and retrofitting existing buildings.
The T501BD fits standard doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" thick (thin-door adapters available separately) and comes preassembled with brass roses and cast levers for quick installation. Cylinders feature 6-pin chambers pinned in 5 (6 or 7-pin options available), interchangeable core designs, and solid brass construction.
