The Yale 8862FL 626 is a heavy-duty mortise lock built for commercial doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Featuring a reinforced stainless steel deadbolt and vandal-resistant trim, it solves the need for reliable access control in high-traffic facilities, offices, and institutional buildings where strength and longevity matter.
This mortise lock installs into standard 1-3/4" doors and accommodates thicker doors to 3-1/4" by special order. Field-reversible handing and a standard nonhanded strike simplify installation.
