The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered to exceed ANSI A156.2 Grade 2 requirements. Designed for commercial and institutional doors 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick, it delivers reliable security and smooth operation for high-traffic entryways where consistent performance matters.
This lock fits ANSI A115.2 (161) modified door preparations with a 4 1/2" minimum stile. Strike options include 600 Curved Lip in brass or stainless steel, plus 808 ANSI or 505 Full Lip alternatives.
