Description
The Sargent 6500 is a standard-duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock built to ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2. It's ideal for commercial and institutional doors requiring reliable keyed access control. The universal hand design and durable steel and brass construction solve the need for code-compliant, long-lasting entry hardware on doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick.
This lock fits ANSI A115.2 (161) Modified bored prep with a 4-1/2" minimum stile. Standard 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional) accepts LA keyway cylinders with six pins and includes two nickel silver keys. Strike options include 600 Curved Lip (brass or stainless), 808 ANSI Curved Lip, or 505 Full Lip.
