Description
The Sargent 6500 is a standard duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock built for commercial and institutional doors. It meets ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. Universal hand design and brass latch with 1/2" throw provide reliable everyday security for offices, classrooms, and facilities.
This model features a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional), brass 6-pin LA keyway cylinder, and wrought brass or stainless steel front escutcheon. Compatible with 600 curved lip, 808 ANSI curved lip, or 505 full lip strikes. Available in six finishes.
