The Sargent 6500 series is a heavy-duty key-in-lever lock that meets ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 standards. Ideal for commercial and institutional doors, it provides reliable keyed access control for interior and exterior applications on doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, solving the need for durable, code-compliant entry hardware.
This cylindrical lock installs on standard ANSI A115.2 bored prep and accepts 2-3/4" or 2-3/8" backset configurations. The universal, non-handed design simplifies inventory and installation.
