The Sargent 2870-65G05 KB4 is a standard duty key-in-lever cylindrical lock engineered for commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, making it ideal for offices, schools, and secure facilities where reliable keyed access control is essential.
This lock features a 2-3/4" standard backset (2-3/8" optional), universal hand design, and brass construction with multiple finish options including stainless steel. It accepts standard LA keyway cylinders with six pins and includes two nickel silver keys.
