The Sargent 6500 Series 2870-65G05 is a standard-duty key-in-lever lock built for interior and light-commercial doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8 inch to 1-3/4 inch thick. Universal hand design and a 1/2 inch brass latch with 1/2 inch throw provide reliable security and smooth operation for offices, schools, and institutional facilities.
This lock accepts standard LA keyway cylinders with 6 pins and ships with two nickel silver keys. Compatible with ANSI A115.2 modified preparation on 4-1/2 inch minimum stile doors.
