Description
The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard duty key-in-lever lock built for commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. This universal hand lock provides reliable security for medium-traffic applications where keyed entry control is essential.
Installation requires ANSI A115.2 (161) modified door prep with minimum 4-1/2" stile width and 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). The lock ships with two nickel silver keys and your choice of strike options.
