The Sargent 2870 is a key-in-lever lock built for standard-duty commercial interiors and exteriors in public buildings, medical offices, hotels, and government facilities. It exceeds ANSI/BHMA A156.2 cycling and durability standards, offering reliable access control with multiple lever designs and keying options for diverse architectural needs.
This lock fits 1-3/4 inch thick doors with a 2-3/4 inch backset standard, and accepts optional 1-3/8 inch and 2-3/8 inch configurations. The brass latch, steel housing, and brass cylinder with 6-pin LA keyway support master keying and grand master keying.
