The LCN 4040SE-DE is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer and electromagnetic hold-open device designed for fire and smoke barrier doors in commercial buildings. It holds doors open via 24V solenoid control until power loss or manual release triggers automatic closure, ideal for ADA-compliant egress and accessible entrances.
This non-handed, non-sized closer fits interior doors up to 4 feet and mounts on either push or pull side. It includes a standard single-lever track arm, 24V power supply, switch board with over-voltage protection, and wood/machine screw fasteners.
