Description
The LCN 4040XP-3049 is a heavy-duty door closer arm built for institutional and high-traffic applications. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and a new V-shield seal with 20% longer life. This non-handed closer delivers extra protection in demanding real-world environments with cast iron, forged steel, and double heat-treated components.
The 4040XP mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or as a parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors, fitting interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". It meets ADA requirements and is UL and cUL listed under ANSI Standard A156.4, grade one.
