It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and a reinforced 5/8" wide bearing. The V-shield seal delivers 20% longer life, making it ideal for schools, hospitals, and commercial facilities where performance cannot fail.
This non-handed closer mounts on hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm configuration for either swing direction on interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". It is UL and cUL listed, ANSI A156.4 Grade One certified, and compatible with all 4040 accessories.
