Description
The LCN 4040XP-H is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for institutional and high-traffic commercial environments. It solves premature wear and unreliable closing in demanding applications with 44% increased bearing load capacity, a stronger 3/4" journal pinion, and an enhanced V-shield seal rated 20% longer life. LCN's most durable closer, it features cast iron and double heat-treated steel construction for institutional reliability.
This left-hand, US26-finish closer mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with a parallel arm bracket on either swing. The non-sized cylinder adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0", and it meets ADA requirements.
