The LCN 4040XP is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer built for institutional and high-traffic environments. Its reinforced design features a 3/4" forged steel pinion, 5/8" bearing, and V-shield seal with 20% extended life. Choose this closer for maximum durability and consistent performance in demanding applications.
This right-hand unit mounts on the hinge side, top jamb, or with the included PA parallel arm bracket, and adjusts for interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". It meets ADA requirements and carries UL/cUL certification to ANSI A156.4 grade one.
