Description
The LCN 4040XP-SCUSH is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for institutional and high-traffic commercial buildings. It features 44% increased bearing load capacity, the strongest pinion ever at 3/4" journal diameter, and LCN's new V-shield seal with 20% longer life. This non-handed closer solves reliability challenges in demanding environments where standard closers fail.
The 4040XP mounts on either right or left swinging doors via hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm bracket. It accommodates interior doors to 5'0" and exterior doors to 4'0". UL and cUL listed under ANSI A156.4 grade one, the closer includes fast power adjust and optional finishes (powder coat, plated metal, or SRI primer for corrosive conditions). Contact E.D.
