The Adams Rite 4530 is a standard duty mortise deadlatch designed for buildings requiring flexible traffic control during and after business hours. It solves the challenge of managing entrance and exit restrictions in hospitals, banks, retail stores, and similar facilities by allowing two-way traffic when needed and exit-only lockdown at other times.
This deadlatch fits existing stile cutouts designed for older MS1850 deadlocks and discontinued 4250 deadlatches of the same backset without modification. It accepts any standard mortise cylinder with MS cam and ships with a 4901-01 strike for flat jambs, plus mounting hardware. As an authorized Adams Rite dealer, E.D.
