Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for commercial doors requiring free entrance at certain times and exit-only at others. A reverse turn of the key while the bolt is retracted locks it in place. Ideal for hospitals, offices, and facilities needing switchable access patterns without stile modification.
This deadlatch is interchangeable with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of the same backset and faceplate shape, and retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations. The solid brass latch bolt is reversible with a screwdriver, and a stainless steel auxiliary pin prevents loiding. Both flat and radius faceplates are included.
