Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for commercial and institutional doors. Its reverse-key bolt holdback feature allows free entrance during certain hours and exit-only operation at others, making it ideal for buildings requiring variable access. The solid brass latch bolt is easily reversible with just a screwdriver, and a stainless steel auxiliary pin prevents loiding and case-knife entry.
This mortise lock is interchangeable with MS1850A and MS1850S deadbolts of the same backset and faceplate shape, and retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations. Available in three cylinder backsets (31/32 inch, 1-1/8 inch, or 1-1/2 inch), it ships with flat and radius faceplates and strike options.
