The Sargent 80 Series exit device is a Grade 1 panic bar designed for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings requiring durable, code-compliant egress hardware. It solves the need for reliable emergency exit functionality while meeting or exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements, with modular construction and minimal moving parts for maintenance-free operation.
Compatible with metal doors 1-3/4 inch minimum thickness and 4-1/2 inch minimum stile width. Four rail sizes accommodate door widths from 24 to 48 inches, with factory cutting available. Electric options include alarm, beacon, photoluminescent coating, illuminated touchpad, and latch monitoring.
