The Adams Rite 8430-28342 is a mortise exit device designed for narrow stile aluminum doors up to 8 feet tall. Built for left-hand reverse (LHR) applications, it features a 42-inch pushbar made of extruded aluminum and a 31/32-inch backset. This device solves emergency egress requirements for commercial buildings, retail storefronts, and institutional facilities requiring ADA-compliant panic hardware.
Compatible with standard 1.75-inch to 2.25-inch door thickness, the non-handed design allows field-reversible lever entry trim for flexible installation. Dogging options include hex key, cylinder, or electric (available separately).
