The Falcon SC71A is a heavy-duty commercial surface closer designed for high-traffic institutional and commercial buildings. Its single-piece cast aluminum body with heat-treated forged steel components delivers reliable door control in schools, offices, retail, and apartments. Non-handed design works on left or right swinging doors, and separate adjustable controls let you tune general speed, latch speed, and backcheck for your specific application.
The SC71A mounts universally and pairs with standard arm types and installation accessories. It is UL listed, ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 certified, and meets ADA and ANSI A117.1 accessibility standards.
