The Falcon T501BD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic and demanding institutional applications. Built with compression springs that exceed ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements, it delivers institutional-grade security and durability at a solid price point. Brass and cold-formed steel construction with zinc plating and dichromating ensure long-term rust resistance in demanding environments.
This lock accepts any manufacturer's cylinder and features removable cylinder design for quick, tool-free re-keying, making retrofit installations simple. Standard 2-3/4 inch backset, fits doors 1-3/4 to 2-1/8 inches thick; thin door and extended backset kits available.
