Description
The Sargent 6500 Series is a Grade 2 key-in-lever cylindrical lock built for commercial and institutional doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 requirements, making it ideal for offices, schools, and facilities needing reliable access control with keyed entry and universal hand operation.
This model features a 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional), brass 6-pin cylinder with LA keyway, and 1/2" throw latch. It ships with two keys and installs into ANSI A115.2 (161) modified borings on stiles 4-1/2" or larger.
