The Sargent 6500 Series is a standard-duty key-in-lever lock engineered for commercial and institutional doors. It exceeds ANSI A156.2 Series 4000 Grade 2 requirements and fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick. This universal-hand lock delivers reliable access control for office buildings, schools, and facilities requiring durable keyed entry hardware.
Installs on doors with 2-3/4" backset (2-3/8" optional). The 6-pin brass cylinder uses LA keyway standard and includes two nickel silver keys.
