The Adams Rite 4530 is a standard-duty mortise deadlatch that gives you flexible traffic control throughout your business day. Perfect for hospitals, banks, retail stores, and offices, it lets you switch between free entrance and exit-only modes by reversing the key while the bolt is retracted, solving scheduling challenges without hardware changes.
This deadlatch fits existing MS1850 and 4250 cutouts without alteration and accepts any standard mortise cylinder with MS cam. Installation includes a 4901-01 strike for flat jambs, mounting screws, and individual boxing. Available in three backsets: 7/8 in., 31/32 in., and 1-1/8 in.
