Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for commercial and institutional doors. Its reverse-key design allows you to hold the bolt retracted for two-way passage during operating hours, then lock down for exit-only security when needed. The solid brass latch bolt is easily reversible and includes a stainless steel auxiliary pin that deadlocks the bolt to prevent loiding or forced entry.
This mortise lock retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and interchanges with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts of the same backset without stile modification. It arrives with flat and radius faceplates, strike, and mounting screws. Comes in three backset options: 31/32 In., 1-1/8 In., and 1-1/2 In.
