The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch offers flexible traffic control for applications requiring free entrance at certain times and exit-only at others. A reverse key turn holds the bolt retracted, enabling two-way traffic management. Ideal for commercial buildings, offices, and facilities needing switchable access patterns, this deadlatch solves the problem of inflexible single-function locks.
This mortise lock retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and interchanges with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts without stile modification.
