Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch provides flexible traffic control for commercial doors requiring free entrance at certain times and exit-only at others. A reverse key turn holds the bolt retracted for two-way passage, then locks it down when needed. The solid brass latch bolt is easily reversible with a screwdriver, and a stainless steel auxiliary pin prevents loiding or case-knife entry.
This mortise lock retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and interchanges with MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolts without stile modification. Available in three cylinder backsets (31/32", 1-1/8", 1-1/2"), it ships with flat and radius faceplates, strike, and mounting screws. Contact an authorized E.D.
