Description
The Adams Rite 4900 Series Mortise Deadlatch delivers flexible traffic control for commercial and institutional doors. Reverse-key operation holds the bolt retracted, enabling free entrance or exit-only modes at different times. A stainless steel auxiliary latch pin prevents loiding and case-knife entry, while the solid brass bolt is easily reversible with a screwdriver.
This mortise lock retrofits existing 4500/4700 preparations and replaces any MS1850A or MS1850S deadbolt without stile modification. Available in three cylinder backsets (31/32", 1-1/8", 1-1/2") with both flat and radius faceplates. As an authorized Adams Rite dealer, E.D.
