The Sargent 80 Series MD8640F is a heavy-duty rim exit device designed for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic environments, this device provides maintenance-free operation with modular construction and few moving parts, exceeding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cycle and strength requirements.

This left-hand reverse (LHR) model fits metal doors 1 3/4 inches minimum thickness on stiles 4 1/2 inches or wider. Rails are factory-cut to match your door width (24-48 inches). Compatible with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes. Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarming, latch monitoring, and photoluminescent coatings. Contact an authorized E.D.
