The Adams Rite 8111-42 is a heavy-duty exit device designed for hollow metal and wood doors up to 42 inches wide. Built with an extruded aluminum pushbar, this non-handed device solves emergency egress requirements for commercial buildings, retail spaces, and institutional facilities where reliable panic hardware is essential.
The 8111-42 fits standard 1 3/4 inch to 2 1/4 inch door thickness and adjusts from 30 to 44 inches in height. It accommodates doors up to 8 feet tall (optional Tall Door Kit available for 10-foot doors). Field-reversible lever entry trim and standard hex-key dogging provide flexible installation options.
