Description
The Adams Rite 8701-42 is a rim exit device designed for hollow metal or wood doors up to 8 feet tall. Built with an extruded aluminum pushbar available in multiple finishes, this non-handed device suits standard 1 3/4 inch to 2 1/4 inch door thickness and provides reliable emergency egress for commercial and institutional facilities.
The 8701-42 fits door openings of 30, 36, 42, and 48 inches, with field-cuttable bars for custom widths. Standard dogging uses a hex key; optional cylinder dogging and electric dogging are available.
