The Adams Rite 8430LR is a mortise exit device engineered for narrow stile aluminum doors on left-hand reverse applications. With 1-1/8" backset and electric latch retraction, it provides reliable emergency egress and access control for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and secure entry points where code-compliant panic hardware is essential.
This device fits standard 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" door thickness and adjusts from 30" to 44" bar height, accommodating doors up to 8 feet (taller doors require optional kit).
