The Adams Rite 8430LR is a mortise exit device designed for narrow stile aluminum doors on commercial buildings. With 1-1/8 inch backset and left-hand reverse (LHR) orientation, it provides reliable emergency egress for 36 inch openings. The extruded aluminum pushbar is available in multiple finishes and suits standard 1-3/4 inch door thickness up to 2-1/4 inch. Electric latch retraction enables remote unlocking for controlled access.
This device fits doors up to 8 feet tall with bar height adjustable 30 to 44 inches, and suits stiles minimum 3-3/4 inch wide.
