The Adams Rite 4530 is a standard-duty mortise deadlatch designed for facilities requiring flexible traffic control, such as hospitals, banks, and retail stores. Its reverse-key mechanism lets you hold the bolt retracted for two-way traffic during business hours, then switch to exit-only mode afterward, solving the need for secure yet accessible entries.
This deadlatch fits existing MS1850 and 4250 cutouts without alteration and accepts any standard mortise cylinder with MS cam.
